Why this is important:
Without this restriction, inconvenient “gaps” may occur in the calendar. For example, if one rental ends at 1:05 PM and the next begins at 1:30 PM, a 25-minute gap remains that cannot be booked by anyone else — this time simply goes to waste.
Restricting bookings to full and half hours keeps the schedule organized and prevents such unfillable gaps in the calendar.
