Valid from 01.01.2025 Privacy terms regulate the processing of personal data and the use of cookies on the Rentster Online OÜ (hereinafter rentster) website https://www.rentster.ee and https://autlio.com (hereinafter websites).
DEFINITIONS
Processing of personal data is any activity performed with the personal data of a website user (hereinafter user) – collection, processing, storage, correction or deletion of data. Users are all persons who visit the website, consume services, purchase from the e-shop or provide information to Rentster on their behalf. For example, reading articles, ordering services, purchasing products from the e-shop or contacting us by email.
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
By using the website, the user consents to the processing of their data in accordance with these privacy terms. Rentster collects the following personal data of users through the website in the following ways:
• name, telephone number and e-mail address;
• delivery address of the goods;
• bank account number;
• cost of goods and services and payment-related data (purchase history);
• customer support data.
USE OF PERSONAL DATA
Rentster uses personal data:
• to provide services to the user, for example, to conclude and fulfill the contract, to communicate with the user, to send invoices;
• to send notifications about new articles, services and campaigns to the user’s email address, but only with the user’s prior consent;
• to manage customer orders and deliver goods;
• purchase history data (date of purchase, product, quantity, customer data) is used to compile an overview of purchased goods and services and to analyze customer preferences;
• the bank account number is used to return payments to the customer;
• personal data such as email, phone number, customer name are processed in order to resolve issues related to the provision of goods and services (customer support);
• the IP address or other network identifiers of the online store user are processed to provide the online store as an information society service and to produce web usage statistics.
• Rentster uses website traffic statistics to improve the website user experience and more effectively market the website. The user has the right to prohibit the processing of their personal data at any time, except if it is necessary to fulfill a requirement arising from the contract, including the provision of a service.
TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES
A third party is a Rentster contractual partner who processes personal data and whose product or service Rentster uses to provide services to the user. Rentster uses third parties for its daily activities who provide:
• an e-mail forwarding and management system,
• website hosting,
• website usage statistics analysis;
• social media use and social media statistics analysis,
• accounting software use.
• In addition to the third parties mentioned in the previous point, Rentster transfers the user’s personal data to a cooperation partner. This is only to the extent necessary to provide the user with a service.
• Personal data is transferred to the e-shop customer support to manage purchases and purchase history and resolve customer problems.
• Name, telephone number and e-mail address are forwarded to the transport service provider chosen by the customer.
• If the goods are delivered by courier, then in addition to the contact details, the customer’s address is also forwarded.
• Rentster is the controller of personal data, Rentster forwards the personal data necessary for making payments to the authorized processor Montonio Finance OÜ.
LINKS TO OTHER PAGES AND EMBEDDED CONTENT
Some pages, for example in the blog, may contain references to other websites or contain embedded content, for example a YouTube video, which the visitor can watch directly in the blog. When consuming embedded content, in a technical sense, another website, such as YouTube, is visited, where the terms and conditions of that website apply. These pages may collect data about the user, replace cookies or forward user data to third parties.
STORAGE AND SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA
Rentster implements appropriate physical, organizational and IT security measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorized access and disclosure. Rentster retains personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose or as required by law. For example, accounting data is retained for 7 years from the end of the financial year, and an e-mail address in a mailing list until the user expresses a desire to remove it from there. When closing a customer account, personal data is deleted, unless such data needs to be retained for accounting purposes or to resolve consumer disputes. In the case of disputes related to payments and consumer disputes, personal data is retained until the claim is fulfilled or the statute of limitations expires. Access to personal data is available to Rentster employees and contractual partners, who can review personal data in order to resolve technical issues related to the use of the e-shop and provide customer support services. The transfer of personal data to the e-shop’s authorized processors (e.g. transport service provider and data hosting) takes place on the basis of agreements concluded with the e-shop and authorized processors. Processors are required to ensure appropriate safeguards when processing personal data.
ACCESS, RECTIFICATION, ERASURE AND PORTABILITY OF PERSONAL DATA.
Personal data can be accessed and corrected in the user profile. To delete personal data, contact customer support by e-mail. A request for deletion will be responded to no later than within a month and the period for data deletion will be specified. A request for the transfer of personal data submitted by e-mail will be responded to no later than within a month. Customer support will verify the identity of the person and inform about the personal data that is subject to transfer.
USER RIGHTS
The user has the right at any time to:
• express a request for access to his/her data;
• demand that personal data be corrected, supplemented or deleted under the conditions prescribed by law;
• demand that the processing of personal data be restricted;
• demand that personal data be transferred.
• If the user is a member of the Rentster mailing list, he/she can delete himself/herself from the mailing list and unsubscribe from further mailings via the link at the end of the email.
• To restrict the use of cookies, the user can make appropriate choices in their browser settings.
• If the user believes that their rights have been violated in the processing of personal data, they have the right to contact the Data Protection Inspectorate.
MISSIONS
The Rentster website uses cookies to ensure a better user experience and more effective marketing activities and to collect usage statistics. By using the Rentster website, the user agrees to the use of cookies in the manner described in these procedures. A cookie is a small text file that the web browser automatically saves on the device used by the user. Cookies can be created by various service providers, such as Google and Facebook. Cookie files are not dangerous for the computer.
There are two types of cookies:
• Persistent cookies, which remain permanently in the cookie file on the user’s computer. They can be used, for example, to recognize the user as a repeat visitor to the website and to adapt the content of the website to the user’s needs or to collect statistical data.
• Session cookies are temporary and disappear when the user leaves the website or closes their web browser. Session cookies may be used to enable certain functions of the website, such as requesting a service or product, etc.
Cookies are used to collect information about how the website is used in order to make it more personal and user-friendly for users. In addition, cookies help collect user statistics, which allows us to measure and improve the performance of the website and provide basic data to carry out effective marketing activities. The user is considered to have agreed to cookies if cookies are enabled in their web browser settings. Web browsers often allow cookie files to be stored on the device by default. The user can disable the use of cookies on their device or delete them by changing the relevant settings in their web browser. If cookies are not used, the website may not function correctly. To collect usage statistics, we use Google Analytics and Facebook Analytics services to collect data on visited subpages, visit time, number of visits, devices used, entry channels and other statistics. However, Google Analytics may collect data on user activity even without using cookies. In order for Google Analytics to not be able to use the data, the user can install a Google Analytics blocking application on their device: the Google Analytics Opt-out browser extension. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY TERMS
Rentster reserves the right to change the privacy terms unilaterally and without prior notice, in order to ensure their compliance with the law. The privacy terms are always available in their latest version on the website.

Disputes related to the processing of personal data are resolved through customer support ([email protected]). The supervisory authority is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate ([email protected]).
